Resham Bharwani

With 20 years of faceted educational experience, Resham has a passion for education, as seen by her previous work as the former preschool director and lead teacher of Burlingame Montessori and most recently being the Director of Development and Communications at The Carey School. Prior to that, she spent time tutoring inner city youth in Columbus, OH and ran after school enrichment programs in Boston, MA and the Bay Area.

Born to Indian parents and a transplant from Morocco, Resham is a product of independent schools. She values and understands the meaning of true partnership in independent education and what it means to support a school’s mission and values. Driving her to join the Field Middle School board is the opportunity to serve and give back to the community. After her visit to Field Middle School, she was enamored by this little school with a big heart.

A mom of two girls, Resham enjoys traveling, HIIT workouts, cooking and spending time with her family and their Malshi.
